2D Animation That Tells a Story and Explains Ideas
Often the most direct way to communicate complex ideas, sell a product or service, or just to tell a story is with 2D animation and motion-graphics. We’ve created content for numerous use cases – e-learning, product explainers, marketing and social media. Lively cartoon characters, bringing science to life, emotional narratives – with animation, anything is possible!

Talking Medicines ( Glasgow, Scotland ) required some animation for their innovative mobile phone app which helps explain medications to patients. IntoTheScreen delivered a series of 2D motion graphics and animations – these were even shown briefly on ITV News during a short piece showcasing the Talking Medicines app!

- Multiple animations were commissioned for the app
- A mixture of 3D animation and 2D animation was used to explain abstract medical and biological systems in a way that could be easily digested and understood by anyone
- All motion-graphics and animations were designed around Talking Medicines branding, giving them a clearly identifiable visual style which helps elevate the brand.

Lintbells required a How-To animation for their pet treatment product Flick .
Strong brand presence inspires consumer confidence and has been clearly shown to influence purchasing decisions – brand confidence is everything in the increasingly competitive consumer marketplace where every possible advantage is required .
This was a simple and direct mix of 2D animation and motion-graphics typography that reinforces Flick‘s visual identity and communicates product messaging to potential customers:

Pharmaceuticals giant Teva required some animation showcasing the results of a study into the personal and economic societal burden of migraine in people with comorbid psychiatric disease across Europe.
The very talented designers at Ashfield MedComms provided the storyboard and design for this one and my job was to bring it to life with animation and motion graphics:
